Be the worst != Feel the worst
Be the worst is about learning, and to have people about to learn from.
Maybe you are better than someone in some at some area, but that doesn’t mean you’re better than him. Someone may be much better than you at something, that does not mean that you are worst than him.
There is simply a difference in those specific areas.
Teams must be multidisciplinar, and each person has their good and bad things. And you can learn from all of them, you just have to know how. Sometimes it is better to shut up and listen, instead of going with an answer ahead.
A team that listens is more productive. When we feel part of a whole, there is a greater predisposition to help each other, since there is more empathy.
Raising the level of your company or your team starts with you. You are part of a team. Raise your level and help the rest. If everyone does it, they will be able to advance in different ways. Until a certain point, you can influence in people for a window of time. When this windows ends, it is time to move.
You won’t be so hard on yourself
You will never be the expert enough in something as you would like, there will always be something you want to learn or to refresh. And you will always feel that you don’t have time. There will be allways things to improve in your team and in your code. So…
